Following the successful hosting of the Special Summer Showcase, which featured leading poets in the North-East, including Amife Sabatina, David Roe, Megan Robson, Steve Lancaster, amongst others. The Stanza will host another riveting evening of poetry, spoken word, comedy, and live music on the Open Mic. An outstanding line-up of poets in the North-East literary circuit will headline the event which includes; Tolu’ A. Akinyemi, Gary the Hat, Chris Cook and comedian, Jimmy Ryan.
The event, which promises to be a showcase of wonderful words and magical music, will take place on Wednesday 30th August, Doors Open:7pm. Entry to the event is free, which will be held at North Shields & District Men’s Catholic Club, Cecil Street, North Shields NE29 0DQ.
